As specialists in the engine reconditioning business for all makes and models of cars and with a history of high quality work on classic and vintage vehicles including white metalling and crank shaft grinding repair, we feel able to deal with all levels of work to an equally high standard which our customers have come to expect. Paynes also offers unleaded conversions using hard valve seats, as well as cylinder head refurbishment, cylinder re-boring, and general machining. Obviousely a lot of these processes can be used on boat engines and Paynes does work for a number of boat yards. As well as the historical engine re-conditioning work Paynes also offers a Design, Development and Manufacturing service.
